Fundraising Clinics in 2025 - Don’t Miss Out!

Excellent – Gayle was hugely helpful and really enabled me to get some fresh ideas and perspective on the many possibilities we were considering…”

During the first half of 2023, we piloted a new Fundraising Clinics offer via charity consultant Gayle Derrick. After the successes of that pilot, we repeated the offer in early 2024, helping a further 8 organisations to access fundraising support. Off the back of the successes of 2024’s cohort, we have expanded the support into 2025, as part of our Funding Plus toolkit.

Feedback from the 2024 Cohort

Gayle ran a total of 14 sessions across the cohort, ranging from enhancing existing fundraising plans, to in-depth scrutiny of income generation strategies.

Feedback from the sessions was overwhelmingly positive, and the attendees found sessions extremely useful to pinpoint their organisation’s challenges, learn about opportunities and confidently make positive changes to their fundraising processes:

“Brilliant – Gayle was personable, detail-oriented and keen to properly understand what the opportunities and challenges were for us as a charity…a rare opportunity to receive bespoke, expert advice on how to improve our fundraising with plenty of time for deep-dive discussion and questions…”

“…It really helped us pull together a workflow that has enabled us to get much better at managing how we prospect, apply and manage the relationship with funders.”

Consistently, attendees reported the positive effect that sessions had on their fundraising outcomes; this was particularly noticeable for smaller organisations. Many attendees reported significant fundraising successes:

“We have seen a significant uptick in support as a result of her advice and continue to implement this in our fundraising.”

“…we developed a compelling organisational story that has significantly improved our internal communication and external engagement. This story has proven to be a powerful tool for…enabling us to communicate our work effectively and secure grants more efficiently.”

“We have established a working group to manage the fundraising strategy and have created a pipeline document that enables everyone to understand where we are up to with each funder. It has had a significant impact on our ability to raise funds. As a small charity that is hugely important.”
